Susan Raab is managing partner of the Customer Data Platform Institute, where she handles the Institute’s privacy initiative and international partnerships. She is editor of CDPI’s weekly Privacy to Market newsletter, led the Institute’s global privacy conference, and has spoken on data privacy at martech events. Her privacy research is published in the Journal of Data Protection and Privacy. Susan has also spent many years as an international marketer and journalist. Her marketing agency, part of Raab Associates LLC, managed corporate campaigns for international clients in the education, publishing, game, and non-profit sectors, including for the American Girls Collection, the International Board on Books for Young People, National Geographic, Penguin Random House, and Wizards of the Coast (D&D). As an international columnist for more than thirty years, Susan has reported on trends, issues, and technology, including for publications, news services and as a broadcast correspondent for public radio. Susan also served as marketing advisor to Bank Street College of Education, the University of Connecticut, and the University of Florida.
