Shawn has more than 20+ years of hands-on IT experience. Prior to joining TIBCO he was Director of Global Marketing and Channels at Quest Software and Chief Research Officer at Dell’s Information Management Group. Prior to joining Dell Shawn was Vice President Research for Business Intelligence and Analytics at Enterprise Management Associates a leading analyst firm. He co-founded the BeyeNETWORK, a global online publication covering business intelligence and analytics. He was also a partner at DMReview magazine a leading print publication.
Shawn was identified by Analytics Week as a top thought leader in the field of big data and analytics for influencing and changing the data and analytics world today, and considers his passions to be rooted in the online world, focusing on analytics, social media, business intelligence, enterprise 2.0, SaaS and open source.
