Kashif Faraz is an Apache Druid PMC Member with several contributions that have greatly influenced the direction of the Druid project. He is currently a part of the Database Systems Team at Imply where he is spearheading the efforts to further performance and stability of large Druid clusters capable of handling petabytes of data. With a decade of experience working on various data-platforms and databases such as Apache Hive, HBase and Couchbase, Kashif is passionate about building the next generation of real-time analytical databases.
