SionicAI has recently announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Naver Cloud to advance the development of large-scale artificial intelligence technologies.

Under the MOU, the two companies plan to collaborate across various domains and create new business opportunities. SionicAI, an AI startup founded by experts from Naver and Toss with extensive experience in AI-related business and R&D, focuses on B2B solutions based on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models. The company specializes in optimizing large-scale AI for businesses and providing easy-to-manage solutions.

The MOU outlines plans to integrate Naver Cloud’s cloud infrastructure and its large-scale AI model, 'HyperCLOVA X,' with SionicAI’s solutions to deliver enhanced value to customers. SionicAI aims to create practical enterprise use cases for HyperCLOVA X as part of this collaboration.

The agreement includes plans to combine Naver Cloud’s 'large-scale AI model' with SionicAI’s optimization technologies, such as RAG. This integration will lead to the launch of products like 'STORM Answer,' which provides clear responses to customer queries, and 'STORM Analyze,' which offers functionalities such as summarization, categorization, and sentiment analysis. The partnership will also involve joint marketing efforts and the exploration of new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the B2B generative AI industry both domestically and internationally.
